To introduce and promote a cleaner energy alternative in Trinidad and Tobago, encouraging the country to implement less carbon intensive energy substitutes.

Our History

2016

Ideation

While working on a drilling rig, the co-founders have a vision for a net zero T&T and recognize the importance of energy resilience in the energy sector. RESSCOTT is born as a sole trader selling solar energy products and offering energy consultation in the goal of increasing awareness.

2018

Traction

RESSCOTT gains investor support and creates revolutionary business plan, using engineering as the foundation of the business. Interest increases and the Board of Directors grows! We continue to engage with local and global stakeholders to ensure our business is robust.

2019

Local

Recognizing a gap in the local solar energy industry and lack of adherence to engineering codes and standards, RESSCOTT LTD is incorporated and creates strategic alliance partnerships with other engineering firms worldwide. This year also marks the creation of our solar energy charitable foundation, a charity whereby the company installs solar energy systems for families that fall within the poverty bracket and have no access to utility power. Our workforce begins to expand and we now have a strong base of engineers and climate change professionals to support our organization.

2020

Scale

Local companies realize the value and engineering capability of the company and begin to join forces to increase the drive of the green agenda. RESSCOTT LTD reaches a daily installation value of 15kW per day and now has a broad range of clean energy engineering services across all sectors, particularly the Oil and Gas and Commercial Sector. Strategic Alliance Partnerships are made with additional engineering companies throughout the world (United Kingdom and Georgia, USA) and RESSCOTT LTD begins consulting on MW scale solar projects as design engineers. 2020 marks the year of the introduction of our real estate development business, solar pool heating solutions, solar powered lighting towers, carpark construction services and agricultural solutions. In this year, RESSCOTT LTD installed the country’s largest off-grid solar powered facility on Nelson Island!

2021

Intercoastal

Our daily installation target has risen to 20kW per day and the company increases its portfolio of services and staff. Our charitable installations have now reached 30kW per annum and the company engagement from the oil and gas sector has increased tremendously. The company now has 90 Megawatts of solar energy experience and has conducted 40 solar LED lighting and car park construction projects throughout the Caribbean.

2022

Proven

RESSCOTT LTD has become ISO9001 certified and now has a total daily installation value of 30kW of solar energy with 50 carpark solar lighting and construction projects completed! In total, the company has now displaced almost 85 Million kg of CO2 emissions. The mantra of the RESSCOTT LTD is to develop solutions capable of decarbonizing T&T within the next decade through the continued implementation of clean energy solutions and engineering services as Registered Professional Engineers under the Board of Engineering of Trinidad and Tobago and United States. The RESSCOTT Power Stars Steelpan orchestra is born in an effort to increase awareness of clean energy and energy efficient practices in the country’s next generation of leaders. Further investors, OEM partners and Strategic Alliance Partnerships are created in the USA and UK to increase the engineering capability and support the foundation of the company.
